Thousand Palms · Coachella Valley

That's not dirt.
It's calcium scale.

Desert hard water leaves the same white line on every pool in the valley. We take it off with your pool still full. Most pools are ready to swim within 24 hours.

The problem

Why the white line keeps coming back

Coachella Valley water is hard. Every time it evaporates off the waterline it leaves its minerals behind on the tile, and over a season those minerals build into a grey-white crust.

A brush will not move it. Tile soap will not move it. It is not dirt, it is calcium bonded to the glaze, and it has to be taken off mechanically.

How it comes off

Taken off with your pool full

We work the waterline with the water still in the pool. No draining means no refill, no empty shell sitting in the heat, and no week without a pool.

Before and after

The same tile, twice

Every job on this page is a waterline that looked like the left side and now looks like the right.

What we do

Seven jobs, one trade

Pool Tile Calcium Removal

The flagship. Scale comes off the waterline tile with the pool still full, so the glaze and the grout line come back instead of being covered up.

No draining. Residential and hotel.

  • Tile Repair

Cracked, loose or missing waterline tile reset and matched to what is already there.

  • Re-Grouting

Failed grout cut out and replaced along the waterline so water stops getting behind the tile.

  • Sandblasting

For heavy buildup and for surfaces that need to be taken back before anything new goes on.

  • Acid Wash

Stained plaster brought back a shade, for surfaces where the discoloration is in the finish.

  • Pool Light Replacement

Dead or fogged pool lights pulled and replaced while we are already at the waterline.

  • Plaster

The big one. When the surface is past washing, the pool gets a new finish rather than another clean.

Not sure which one your pool needs? Paul will tell you on the phone. (760) 620-4569

How a job goes

From the call to the swim

  1. You call

You get Paul on (760) 620-4569, not a call centre.

  2. He looks at the tile

The quote comes off what is actually on your waterline, not off a square-foot table.

  3. The scale comes off

Pool stays full. Tile, grout and light work happen in the same visit.

  4. You swim

Most pools are ready within 24 hours.
